the one with blue should be Max, but not sure if the blue in this model is a special color for 25th annivesary

nope, the one with blue strip only is the one Max was using in the movie version. Take a look: http://www.mahq.net/mecha/macross/sdfmacross/vf-1j.htm and check the "Battroid mode in Maximilian Jenius colors" option
