But it's hard to also not say, that it would've been a total photo journalism heaven at downtown last night if you had the guts to go down there.

This is a candidate for world press photo of the year.

It's a life time regret for me not to be there last night.  I will not forgive myself.

and I dunno why u need guts...If you are talking about middle east or africa, then yes - but a small scale riot? it's nothing...

That said, I agree that you need to take some risk if you wanna do some amazing photo journalism.

More I look at this photo more I am in love with it. Agree x2 on candidate for world press photo of the year.
