[日本料理] Chow Times: Yuu Japanese Tapas

tried their mini-hotpot, noodles, rice...... would rather go g-men nest door if it re-opens.

yuu has some kind of cbc waitress, chinese cook? not too sure about their so-called japanese tapas, feels like a chinese food court serving japanese style products.

anyways, restaurant was clean, service was decent, and one of their dessert (heart too soft) taste good. billed approx $55, 7/10.

I disagree with chowtimes' review.
It's a Taiwanese restaurant.
I had the pork cutlet with curry sauce on rice. It was extremely SALTY. (either one of them was salty already and having the curry and the pork chop together make it very very salty)
Never want to go back.

From a review in yelp, looks like it's "moved" to  Nan Chuu.

Nan Chuu Izakaya is NOW Gmen disguised as Nan Chuu.....
Huh?

Ok. this is how it went down.
Gmen closed.
The staff and food is now being served at Nan Chuu.
Nan Chuu hours of operation are the same as before but now you can get Ramen and all those things that go with Ramen.  I'm not sure about the late night ramen thing but maybe this will work.

G-men went downhill after a while
me and my frd liked it at first, but after 2-3 more times eatting there, we both agree it wasn't as good anymore

Yuu......tried it twice
I remember having the pumpkin chicken milk pot or something
no taste of pumpkin,  shrimp was not fresh

Yuu's ramen has no flavour. Definitely not worth the price being charged.
