long weekend is coming. the peach arch border crossing for thursday in the morning is already 30 minutes. i can't imagine what it'll be like on friday. probably 1hr+
for those who are planning to shop at exit 202, don't forget to leave early and drive carefully.

Not during the long weekend. I remembere there was one long weekend, I was there about 1:00 Saturday and I needed to wait for 1.5 hours. I was lucky that my lane was fast otherwiser, it could have been 2 hours.

ummm... last couple of times... i left at around 2 - 2:30... (and not come back until like 12ish)
and the wait time was only 40mins - 1hr... (coming back to CAN @ 12ish was only like 20 - 40min)
but then i didn't shop at 202... i went to other malls instead... so leaving that late might not work out so well... i'm not sure when does 202 close...
Last time I did that, I went across the border the night before, wait time was 1 minute LOL.
Stay in a hotel, and shopping the next day.
It is not really a wild idea, b/c the hotel parking lot was full of cars with BC plate that night. So I guess a lot of people do that to avoid the line up during day time.
i think coming back on monday/sunday night will be a looooooong line up. probably worse than the line up to get there. i remember last time when i went during the long weekend, it took me 45 min-1 hr.
