UBC 係咪真係咁難入 ？ 都, private, average, public, school

聽講average 90 幾分都入唔到，
又聽講public school 學生的分數會打九折, private 中學就加分,   
又聽講，入左去第二年踢出來好多 (high school 90 幾分嘅學生，無可能是也也烏，都頂唔住要踢?) ....
各位前輩，請問係真唔係啊 ？

佢地有個list, 知道邊間中學啲分有發水. 自然有加減.
私校有專人負責做report, 介紹信...自然好睇好多.

睇你想讀乜, sci 定 art?
舊年Commerce就97才可以在先收list. 最後都要90才入到(要加好多特別社會參與references).
Engineering要94才可以先收, 最低是87.
art就低好多80幾都入到.

大部份第二年kick out是"英文" 分... 海外生.

sounds crazy, but if u're not the 90+ students, do college first, then transfer in afterwards.   The GPA requirement is much lower.  I don't know why neither.

真事,  我外甥生都係97分， 剛剛 12 月 Harvard 通知佢 early admission。
97 分使鬼讀UBC 咯，

It is amazing how students can get 97% average these days. I still remember, even the top students in Hong Kong didn't get that high. There could be some grade inflation with the scoring methods here.

My son is 3rd year at UBC, but he is going to graduate in May, 1 year ahead of his buddies. He could be a lawyer when he turns 23
