Try Asus, easiest to setup because you don't need any software.

I am using RT-N12 as a repeater and am looking to buy the RT-N66 as main router soon.

I would not get the RT-N10 because the spec is too low.

無理由一日boot幾十次喎!

我最舊部wrt54gl 都行咗有七八年, 其後喺garage sale買咗部wrt54gs, 又同時用了五年多. 半年前把公司換出來的wrt150n, wrt300n, 在家中setup為wrt300n為主router, 其他三部變為ap, 分別cover 屋中四角, 並同時降低tx power至40mw. 都行咗半年, 沒有任何問題, 亦沒有reboot過一次.

所有router都改用dd-wrt為firmware. 現時整個net支援, >15個wifi (notebook, smartphone, tablet, tv...) 及>10 wired (computer, game, printers...) 加加埋埋, 都有近30個mac addy.

如果你部router可以改用dd-wrt的話, 先考慮, 改咗試吓. 無需要吓吓買部新.

所有野都係CISCO做晒﹐想問問﹐ 我STORAGE仲有一個 ASUS WL 520GU 長擠(無駁)﹐
我呢個CASE有無必要 拎個 ASUS 上黎 駁埋佢﹖

這示乎你的apartment layout, 好多有kitchen在中間, 咁, 會多好多干擾 (由其是microwave), 又或者你在router在屋內的一邊, 可能用wire帶多個ap去另一方.

提意你用software (netsurveyor), install在一部notebook來在家中四圍行吓, check吓signal強度, 又睇吓其他鄰居用緊邊條channel (有冇咁啱隔離用相近channel), 開吓microware, 室內無線電話, 電視...., 睇吓netsurveyor比你知, signal有無保持在50%以上.

雖然wifi是連到線, 但由於牆壁及室內設備都會影響(包括書架) 都會影響訊號強度, 傳送速度會下降. 我會加個ap來保證訊號覆蓋平均一點及避開所有中途干擾.

Just using WRT54GL with Linksys FW. I did do an online update once tho. Good 5/6 wireless and 3 wired devices for many years already. Working great as ever. Not planning to upgrade soon unless there'll be a significant difference going to Wireless-N.
