If it' s not an open office, that's fine...
but since it's an open office....it's embarrassing to sit there and doing nothing and everybody here are busy working......
It happens sometimes. U can't be busy everyday you go to work la. I bet even after you get all ur problem fixed and able to access everything in the office, you will still find some days when things are a bit slow.
I used to have a boring job sitting in a closed cubicle, in a 7 hour work day, I only need 2 hours to complete the work, being idle for the rest of the day. That was not a pleasent experience. Wanted to quit but the pay and the job security hindered me from doing so
Anyways, my current job has alot more responsibilities and keeps me busy at most time. I prefer this better as I feel more capable and productive. My days would go by so quickly and a five day work week does not seem long at all.
Well, it seems that most employee dun slack at all.
(I never seen them peaking something else on internet other than working)....but they all take lunch sharp at 12 for one hour break, and leave office sharp at 4:30 .....
I remember back when I was working that sometimes the internet is down..and all our files are in Quebec. So we all ended up sitting at our computer, but not allowed to go home..I fell asleep on the keyboard and woke up with keyboard marks on my forehead
working makes the day pass by SO MUCH FASTER
just sitting there at work is torture...
before, you're always busy as hell, with the b!tch always on your @$$...
now just try to relax a bit lor~
besides, you don't always want to be stressed & unhappy at work.
It's common for people when they just start with the new company. I remembered when I started with my last company, All I was assigned to do was researching and some very basic staff. Worse of all, it was summer without air conditioner so I almost fall into sleep everyday...
