Right, buying new house, back to 5%, but no more housing rebate, plus the hidden building process multi-times 7% PST, building cost increase.  The different is NOT 7%.

Oh! NO! re-setup PST dept, a higher income tax coming soon.

Can't really agree with up to "re-setup PST dept"  But "Higher income tax coming soon" could be charge to:

Higher Capital Gain rate. Or Corp Rates. Or Property Taxes,

It could mean other things, not just shrinking payroll chqs.
