有間日本料理近住漁人碼頭嗰間叫做Yokohama Japanese吾知有冇人試過，好吾好食架呢？

It is the śhit! I mean it negatively. The reviews are quite inconsistent, and I have been there once, and the quality is far far away (negatively) from it's past reputation.

Not that I have tried their high-margin/overpriced deluxe meals, but the place itself seems old and dirty.

tried some yrs back. normal to bad quality but extra diasppointing tampura. sloppy... plus it's not like price matching the quality, as u'd expect from Sumurai Sushi on Cambie / W 41st.

we went there once before they started to offer teppanyaki...

the 2 restaurants are not related...at least not to my knowledge?
Yokohama belongs to $20-40/person price range but food-quality-wise not even comparable to Sumurai $5-15.

hehe, as if that soften the issues and make them look any better.

speaking of sushi places, there is this one place across from Metrotown on Kingsway that is quite good. Forgot what it was called, but they have Uni out of season, which I think is quite awesome as well as it was good.

Sushi Garden ? It's operated by Korean.

Tried the YokoyaXX 3 years ago for a farewell party.  The food quality was poor and I never come back.  Can't believe after 3 years the poor quality standard is still maintained and they can still survive. What kind of customers they are serving ? no demanding ?
