Got it 3 months ago at Costco, I guess it is the latest. Works good on hard flooring, not so good in carpet as expected.
It is quite handy if you don't leave anything on the floor, it won't remove the obstcales for you.
Like it dusting the bathroom, you come back in 10 minutes all the hair are gone. It is very expensive for a vac, but I am a lazy bone.
BTW ... my friend bought one 2 years ago and he mentioned that the battery was a major issue. basically it needs to be replaced after 9 months. That's like half the cost of the thing. (He didn't buy it in Canada though)
being using the 5xx model for 9 months. I had hard wood floor and it works great. Amaze to see how much dirt it picks up. Some model has the timer feature and it could set it up to work while you were away.
My brother-in-law one seems to be a bit quiet compare to mine.
It is a small vac, it just lacks the power to suck the dust deep down. It does the job on the surface. You still need to use the conventional vac once a while.
I have it only 3 month, so I don't know how long does the battery last. Friend of mine have it over a year, still working fine.
been using one for almost 1 yr. it's great! however, be prepared to buy extra brush/parts. I've had friends that had to return theirs a couple of times due to broken parts. I am fortunate so far...knock on wood sin!
