I'll be going to the Canadian Association of Foodservice Professional Conference 2009
in Calgary June 16-20, and receive my Credentialed Foodservice Executive CFE designation.

Is stupid.. I went there a few yrs ago.

It is... a convention of food/produce/sauces & spices + lame cooking show.

So the ticket price = pay for your free food samplings.  That's it.

oh..............i was just hoping that i could get some special cooking equipment or something or some ingreds that i cant get it from outside easily T__T

For baking trade? I supposed.
There are some cake decorating ingredients popular in HK and not available here,
I have to do mail-ordering.

Expensive equipments, for sure.
I sold $250,000 worth Rational  Combi-Oven in 10 months.

went there last year, really nothing special.

would only go if there are free tickets. I paid $12/person last yr, then got another free tix so I went again... but really nothing special because your $12 = samples of food, that's it.
