not all bunnies will sleep deeply. out of my 3 bunnies (well, one passed away recently but he'll still be my bunny forever) only one ever went into deep sleep (flopped over in a relaxed position and eyes closed) and he rarely does that. but it's the cutest thing you'll ever see.
bunnies generally rest instead of sleep. they curl up into a ball or lay down with body flat.. and that's their resting position. that's why they tend to rest a lot. being a prey animal is hard, they always have to stay away...
as for litter training, spay/ neuter your bun first, find out where they like to pee (they usually pick one or two spots) then put a litterbox right there with their droppings in there. if you want you can put their hay right next to/ inside the litterbox. eventually they'll get used to it and use it loyally. but keep in mind occasionally accidents happen. |
