Where to buy ping pong paddle?

I want a decent one

things here is crazily overpriced....if you have a chance...go back to hk to get your equipments....however...depending on what store you go to...prices varies as well...

if you want a pre-assembled paddle (chinese brand)....mainland china is the choice...cheap..and you dont have to be worried about counterfeits

if you want to glue your paddle yourself...better to stay at hk to purchase the stuff...

there is a canadian operated online store (located at montreal) that i think its pretty good too

what kind of paddle you want?

I just want a recreational one, nothing too expensive or pro, flare grip.

Any stores sell them here, locally?

impulse at aberdeen have some...but like i said...its insanely expensive

you can also try bridgeport sports club...they are the dealer for butterfly products....but of course with butterfly..a japanese brand...it will be more expensive than chinese brand

canadian tire and zellers also sell some lower-end ones too

I got mines in China town yrs ago. Double Happiness cant go much wrong. The Butterfly is very pricey, Is almost like a Ferrari, but to be driven by a N driver will it be used to the limit?
As they say an excellent drummer, you can give him a set of tin cans it can make them sound good. And even the best set of drums given to a novice will not sound good at all.

By the way anybody wanted to play ping pong on a weekly basis?
Just like the badminton group.

don't buy the pre-assembled one... they are sucks.... (trust me) u will regret!!!
and when u choose the blade and rubber.... don't just look at the brand name..... u have to choose a right one for ur style..... butterfly is a very famous brand name, but they DO have some bad blades and rubbers..... and for chinese brand, only the double happiness is gd now, but then it depends on the model too..... and they r not cheap (some of them)..... one of the blade was selling over $1000HKD in HK few months ago..... and in here, that blade is selling over $200CAD.... so, it really depends on the model tho.....

well for recreational purposes i dont find a custom-made racket necessary...to make one without a decent blade you are thinking at a minimum of $400 HKD....a mid-grade pre-assembled one (something like $100 HKD) is good enough for recreational use...i bought a DHS one for my girlfriend with PF4 on both sides for ~100HKD....it actually doesnt play that bad.....

i am not really into jap table tennis products...i have used butterfly sriver for around a year...i just find it not as fast and spinny as chinese rubbers

for now i guess i will stick with my good old double happiness blade (notice i use double happiness instead of DHS...mine is one of those good old PF4 blades) and friendship rubber...

actually PF4 is a pretty gd blade...
got the Sriver, do u use the Sriver? or Sriver FX or EL? if u find Sriver is not fast enough, try the SRiver EL and put some speed glue...... and still not fast enough after this, u should try Bryce with some carbon blade, it will be crazy fast...... but for the spin, chinese rubbers are always the best.....

just regular sriver...speedglued

bryce...haha...like i have that kind of money to get just one piece...
