I went there with my friends yesterday. Very disappointed and I would like to share my experience with all the LYK....
First of all, the restaurant was only half full when we arrived. We saw Dr. Jamie Chan stood besides the cashier counter and did nothting - not even a greeting when he saw us entered the restaurant.
Then, we sat down and looked at the menu. The food was super expensive! It costed $11 for an order of Baked Porkchop Rice and $2.95 for a Cold Lemon Tea. Even for a beef congee, it costed $7. We looked at the food which the table besides us had ordered, the food portion was small. The service was bad too. No one approached us and we sat there for 15 minutes until the first waiter came close to us. My friend wanted to have a beef brisket noodle, surprisingly, the waiter told him that the beef brisket was sold out for the day. This is unbelievable! How can 茶餐廳 has no beef brisket??? So he ordered the beef congee instead, and the waiter told him the congee was sold out as well. Remember, we were there during lunch time, we were not there during the odd hours, how can both congee and beef brisket were sold out during lunch hours???? End up he just ordered a wonton noodle.
This makes me remembered that song from "MUD MUK" between NG GUAN YU and WONG CHOU SUN that "BREAKFAST MENU, FAST MENU, LUNCH MENU and DINNER MENU" haha
