what is the point do texting while driving?

I saw an  interview on TV before: A woman said she text because she cannot let her friends think she ignored them. Is it the same with guys? I do not text because I am selfish and value my life more than my friends.

I am not pro text n drive or anything. I think they should've banned texting already, and should have law for hands-free for cell phone for a LONG TIME and can't believe we are so behind the rest of ...
