I usually bought my envelopes from the old Metrotown Hallmark store that is right beside Fair Weather.  However, since it's closed I do not know where I should get it.

I saw there's a sizzix envelope die cut @ Michaels.  It might work.  I guess it would be a mini card envelope.  I know Michaels do sell envelopes.  But it's kind of expensive.

Maybe try Zellers, Walmart, and the I'm Impression/Impress Paper Factory down at Granville Island.  They might have it.  Otherwise, you might have to shop down in the States.

P.S. Try DAISO as well.  I bought some from them before.  It works for the regular size X'mas Cards.  Some of them are $2 for 15 or 18 envelopes.

The 6x6 envelop I got from Scrapebook warehouse is $6.5 for 20. 5.25x7.25 is $2.5/10.
I think it's not bad.

I m a beginner at scrapbooking and card making..
It started becuz I wanted to make a scrapbook for my bf for Valentine's Day~
And then I realized how badly I've got into it and waste so much $ on it~ lol~

I don't hv a lot of materials and I hvn't been shopping for embellishments yet~
So my cards don't look that great~
I reli like the first one and the 3rd one~
But I don't have a lot of creativity and ideas...~

This one is my fav so far~

I have a question tho..
When I m embossing with the heat tool, my card will kind of curve afterwards cuz of the heat..
Is there anyway to prevent that or fix that?
Perhaps I m doing it too close??

Great card! I especially like the 2nd one and 3rd one
And I have the same problem too...but not too serious. Now I try to avoid heat embossing... Do dry embossing w/ cuttlebug instead.
My problem with embossing is that the embossing powder also stick elsewhere (other than the stamped image), so the card could look kinda "dirty" after heat. I saw on forum that ppl use something to scrub the card first before putting the embossing powder. But that thing is like a few bucks so I just forget it

I do use cuttlebug embossing as well~
But when it comes to Christmas, I usually do sparkle embossing powder to make the stamps stand out a little and a little bit X'masey~

Yeah that's wut happened with the 4th one~
I guess embossing powder doesn't work very well with fine detailed stamps~
I tried to dust it, tap it, brush it as much as I could~ lol~
Do you know wut they use to scrub the cards first?
Cuz if it's a few bucks I wouldn't mind buying it cuz I use it quite often~

Also I was wondering if I want to use chalk to colour the cards~
Should I use chalk pencils or chalk blocks?
Cuz afterall if chalk pencils work than I rather use them cuz they're more precise~ lol~

Those are called Anti Static Bag. I think it's selling around $10 in Michaels. With the coupon still comes around $7 I think it's too expensive for just that usage.
Some said the laundry fabric sheet works too but never on mine.

Nice!
Yeah, I like the 2nd and the 3rd one as well.

As for extra embossing powder sticking on the card, I use bouncy (for dryers) to wipe the surface of the card before stamping and putting powder on.  I would use fingers to 彈 from the back of the card and the extra powder will go away.  It's mostly static that keeps it sticks on, so using these two ways would help getting rid of it.  BTW, I was told in the static bag, it's believed to be corn starch....
