oh wow..George Ultra is pretty close to my apartment..I can walk there...but I just pulled a nerve on my shoulder...  and I can't go out..I can't even pick up my baby without being in pain..

so clubbings a no-no for me this weekend...

btw, when u say your fishing record...meaning the guys have to spend $100-$500 on u gals? wow..that's like a week's salary for some people..haha

after you poop out your cute kid, how often do you go out? i need to know...so i can be PREPARED. cus we plan to have a kid in 2-3 years. so i can't fish much longer ga lah.

when i said our fishing record, it's what the guys spend on us girls (club or lounge). in clubs, they won't spend that much...generally because the crowd is younger (less income). in lounge, the guys are successful, professional, have nothing better to do but too old to go clubbing anymore. Don't get me wrong, i have never in my life time have to ask/hint for a drink. to me, that's cheap. in my standards, if you're a girl, you go out and you cannot get at least 5 free drinks offered, then something is definitely wrong. 5 drinks x 8 = already $40 lah, average calculation in a club. but if in lounge, 3 martinis x $10 = 30, + 2 cocktails x $8 = 16, + tapas, + bottle of champagne/wine.... you do the math la. And of course, that's a min $40 average PER girl. so if you have a group of 4 hotties, it's the most efficient & the amount multiplies. anything larger than a group of 4-5 girls max, then the group is too big, & the fish will feel intimidated because even if they are only interested in 1-2 girls in the group, a large group means they will need to spend to treat the entire group just to aim at 1-2 girls. it's not they're not willing to spend...BUT, the makes them think that one hard shot is painful to the wallet. meanwhile, in a smaller group, they have more confidence, and they don't realize they spend round after round...because they think it's easier to target lock down.

yup..i live in yaletown. ha..so I'm close to all the lounges and stuff..but never really go to any of those because my husband doesn't drink or club..-_-. I think the last time I clubbed was...umm..2 years ago valentines. Then I got married that summer and got preggers...then had my baby last year. Yeah..when my baby was about 7 months I went on a cruise but the club on the boat was full of...40 years old..@_@. So i gave up clubbing.

As for going out..I go out pretty much each day..but that's because my mom takes care of my baby for me. I go out mostly for shopping and food only...not really for fun. Well, the last time i went out for "fun" was to the playgym with my son..haha..other than that, we do go to movies and stuff like that..but no more lounging or clubbing after the kid. If you plan on having a kid in 2-3 years...you better enjoy your fun NOW..unless you've got a babysitter you can trust to take care of your kid. Having a kid is a BIG COMMITMENT and for the first year after your baby, you'll probably be stuck with your baby for about 99% of the time...not that you'll want to leave him/her alone either. Then maybe after the kid turns one, you'll feel a bit better, you'll trust your baby with someone else and you'll lost some weight so you're willing to go out again. After having a baby, a lot of women lose their confidence in their bodies for the first couple of years...of course, it's all fine in the eyes of a non-asian guys..but we chinese women tend to judge by asian standards of skinny=pretty...so...unless you lose all the baby weight right away, i don't think you'd expect yourself to go out and have "fun" for at least the first year...

there's so many fit mamas in yaletown that I feel so fat compared to them...but then again, all they do all day is drop their kids in $1000 daycares and work out and do yoga all day....and oh yeah, pushing their $1500 strollers around..@_@

i still haven't lost the baby weight so..i'm not going "out" yet..in fact i've been hiding from all my friends for the past year..haha..cause I'm about 1.5x the weight I was before..@_@
