my doctor said that they can't test me for h1n1 .. only hospital can do it.. unless i got serious problem.. like.. serious coughing, fever, muscle aching, sneezing, stomache at the same day.. then I need to go to hospital right away

get a small bottle of hand sanitizer with you, not sure if this thing helps but at least you can use it when there is not water or soap around

i think what you should do now is eat well, sleep well & do more exercise, have a strong body is what you need.

it's like the end of the world

my elder sister got it (she's in hk) and she is still surviving I don't know why everybody is so panic about it, looks like the whole world is so including China...

everyone in my family took the h1n1 shot except me because I am not at high risk group (should I claimed myself as "blessed"? )...  nobody died in Canada so far (however, I would say "don't go to USA as 1,000 died in H1N1 already!!!")

tweety, I am at the same situation as you, a colleague got it, I am taking skytrain to work. My solution is to bring a small bottle of sanitizer with me all the time and wash my hands after everytime I touched anything suspicious (like handles, chairs, etc.) and tried my best not to touch my face prior to that... I'm taking every opportunity to wash hands with soap & water whenever I can... and wear a mask at the skytrain no matter how other people sees me as weird... so far I can tell you I am very healthy and hopefully it will last....

as long as you've been healthy for most of your life, i wouldnt panic too much la. it's just a flu... with more severe symptoms.
many ppl i know have gotten it and have all recovered. those that havent had it wished they had so they could build up some antibodies.
