Well, I drive to Vancouver once a while la..  not just for shopping and food gei, but also visiting friends .. and as a trip .. ^_^

5-6 hr driving isn't bad ..

I went to Portland three times and all with tours; I not only went there shopping but for sightseeing too.  Of course I would not just drive there for shopping;

is it worth to drive all the way to Portland just for shopping? I believe if you buy alot you  have to pay duty when you return to Canada so maybe it is just break even in count of gas and time cosume.

if you go on regular days it may not worth it but if you go on something like black friday, it might worth it  lo...

Not for me ar C hing!  So State Tax, no PST, no duty ... (ever)

  When I pay more for almost everything here as an Albertian ...  good to save some when I go Seattle ..
