"Service costs do not include bad debt expense arising from the Plan premiums that could not be collected, commissions paid for collection of overdue accounts or administrative expenses. Bad debt expense and commissions paid are charged to the Province's Consolidated Revenue Fund, Vote 49 — Allowances for Doubtful Revenue Accounts and Vote 48 – Commissions on Collection of Public Funds, Administrative expenses incurred by the Plan are funded by the Ministry of Health Services."
Nice, so that probably means another 10%-15% in addition to the published cost.
If you think you are already paying too much taxes, wait for another 20 years. A significantly older population supported by a smaller young working population. Unless things change dramatically, you are looking to pay over 70% of your income to the government.
Well....actually.... does it really matter how much doctor made? Same as...does it matter how much lawyer made, how much our friends made.....?
Doctor made more....they "invest" more time in education...and it's not easy to become a "doctor" anyway...

He knows that you can just get a whatever degree and go to medical school.
