For following the bride whole day is $600 for 10~12 hours in the low season;
$800 in the high season.
Usually, June, July and August are the high season.
Package included: One bridal make up and hair and one lady's make up and hair in the morning,
change into night time make up for one bride and one lady in the evening,
change twice style ( make up and hair ) for the bride during the banquet, travel fee incuded if
in Vancouver area.  ( if you are in other area, please emaill or call, thanks )

If you like the other service,
here are the rates of my services as bellows:
1. Bridal make up and hair is $150 plus travel fee ( if you like me to
    go to your place ). Bridal make up or hair only is $80.
2. Lady's make up and hair is $90. Lady's make up or hair only is $50.
    Groom and groom's man's make up is $20 per person, hair is $20 per person.
    Flower girl's hair is $30 per person.
    Lady's make up and hair trial is $50.
3. Bridal make up and hair trail is $70, we'll need one and a half
    hours to do so. You may come to my home office to avoid travel fee.
    (bridal make up trail is $40, bridal hair trail is $40)
    (* bridal make up and/or hair trail is not appropriate for the photo session before or after wedding day)
4.  Make up and hair for the photo session is $100 + travel fee.  
     ( the bridal trail is only good for casual engagement photo session, since everything is
     not finished, attending a special occasion may be in risk )
5. Touch up make up only in the evening is $40 plus travel fee.
    The touch up make up not only refresh your make up but also
    change your make up from day time to night time look.
6. Change hair style (right after you had touch up make up) is $40;
    if you need to change hair style later (after few dishes or dresses) is $80;
    change the hair and make up while you are changing dress is $100.
7. The travel fee for Richmond is $20~25, Vancouver $30, Downtown Vancouver $40,
    Burnaby $40~45, Coquitlam $50, Port Coquitlam $60, Surrey $50~60, Lander $30,
    Pitt Meadow $80, Port Moody $80.
    If you are in Seattle area, Victoria area, Kilona area, please contact for the detail price.
8. The Over Time Fee (O/T): Before am 9:00 is $10 per hour.
    (with condition)

If you like to book me for your wedding day, you may need to pay the deposit.
The deposit is 1/3 of the total amount, both cash and personal cheque are welcomed.
You may put the deposit as soon as you decide to booking me for your
wedding day make up and hair( the deposit is non-refundable and
non-exchangeable), or just after the make up and hair trail.
Without the deposit, you may not appear on my schedule book,

I've make up with Jessica and Mindy before, Jessica's one is way more natural than Mindy's. Mindy puts too much color on my face!!!!

Mandy is really good ar... she even helped in Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant 2007, and Crystal cover girl etc...
We were at our friends' wedding and i don't know how to do make up and took her like 2 mins and i looked much much better!! heehee

But i do agree with you that Mindy from lovely wedding doesn't do a good job at all. Foundation coverage-wise is ok! But she was putting 80's makeup on me and the hairdo she did was very ordinary as well. And later on I just found out that she did all the same makeup/hairdo to every bride.

I think either make up is done well or not depends on ones self. Cuz for me, I am a freelance photographer. I love taking photos. When ever my friends get married or even friend of a friend get married I will always go take pictures if I have time. I have seen alot of different makeup done by different makeup artists. I think Mindy does a very good job comparing to some other make up artists here. She knows when to put on more or less make up depending on the occasions. As you guys were saying before that Jessica's make up is very natural. I dont understand what you guys mean by "natural". My experience is that if the make up is too "natural", even with the wedding gown on, you still will not look spectacular. With Mindy's make up  you will actually look natural and pretty in both real life and in pictures. I always ask the brides about what they feel about their makeup artist. Almost all the brides with their makeup done by Mindy all think she is a very nice lady and is also very professional. Most of the brides are previous brides' friends, and because Mindy does such a satisfying job, they usually asked their friends(previous brides) for Mindy's contact number. All I can say is that Mindy does a very professional job and her profession is proved by all the brides

I was disappointed because

1. couldn't fix my imbalanced eye shape(my right eye is a bit smaller )and she didn't even point it out

2. couldn't properly place the fake lashes on eyes and make me really uncomfortable. she didn't trim fake lashes good enough to fit my eyes too!!!!! The lashes look so fake afterwards.

3. since she didn't put the lashes properly, she needs to use thick liquid eyeliner to cover the flaws

4. didn't even use lipliner to outline my lips (cuz my lip shape is not obvious)

Sorry to vent but may be it's just me having no luck with her. She is a very nice lady overall but not the MUA i am looking for.

It's really my first time hearing complaints of Mindy.  All of my friends who have asked for to do bridal make up, or banquet makeup give her all thumb-up.   But I did hear one complaint from my friend's friend (not my direct friend).  That lady is very pretty in person and when Mindy was doing makeup for her, she kept adding her own comments (because that lady knows makeup herself), and at the end, it turned out the pics didn't look too good because of the makeup.  After all, my friend concluded that because her friend kept adding her own comment and asked Mindy to change this or that.  That's why!

For myself, if I am looking for a professional to do makeup for me, I will trust her and just let her do the job!  Maybe I know nothing about make up and Mindy did a good job on me (from my friends' comments)
