well, having a family dr and just going to walk in clinic is different.
e.g. for referral to specialist, it's easier for your family dr to do so. They know more about your health history. Also for things like report for ICBC claims, family dr are more willing to help you. Some dr in walk in clinic are not very helpful because doing those report is a hassle to them.
For me walk-in clinics usually is for emergency and sickness that was not serious enough for me to take time off from my work because it usually opened til 6-7pm;
Please do not tell me you have White doctor as your family doctor. You do not know Canada is multicultural country? You can even go to Japanese or Indonesian speaking doctor if you hate Chinese that much.
