I don't totally understand what you said here.
It is a fact that Toyota cars are sold all over the world to all kinds of people, not just c9s. Are you saying c9s outside of the US do not drive cars?
Also, some people do put rubber mats on top of the original mats. But people do that in all brands of cars, not just Toyota cars. How come Toyota cars seem to have more problems with this?
I drove a few Toyotas, Fords before and now drive a Honda. My feeling with Toyota is their car can be not very responsive at times and the car feel is very 'fake'. If the car runs into problem, it will be very dangerous.
I also had the experience of the car suddenly went into acceleration and I thought it only happen to badly abused 'rented' cars, now I know the reason why
I experienced sudden stop (unable to change gear during the middle of drive or stayed at gear 1-->have to really slow down) both BMW and MB....so I believed all cars are the same in that regard! haha
