But then...i guess the most important factor is PRICE ...
It was couple years ago, Birks offers no interest monthly payment... no other admin charges.. I think it's a good option...

Don't ignore the importance of the stone's clarity: very, very important. You probably won't want anything lower than a VS1, max VS2 (both already quite smoggy in my opinion).

For clarity, also depends on what type of flaw it is, needle? cloud? and is it right in the middle or it will be covered when diamond is set...

sometimes a SI doesn't mean exactly worse than a VS...
