There is no labour standard in China.
The owner of the business is a Taiwanese, but the management team
does all the mal-practises. I did not say the owner is guilt-free, he
started the business in China to make more fortune, taking advantage
of the social policy in China, which is impossible in Taiwan.

They do have better policies in China. For example, they have implemented minimum wages, very strict pollution policies and stringent SA8000 requirements. Outdated polluting industries and low paying factories are now being phased out.
For those who think they don't have labour standards, they need to admit their ignorance.
These Foxconn managers from Taiwan need to do something about the situation.
What good are the strictest laws and policies when few (or none) of them ever get enforced? Granted, given the labour shortage at various cities in Guangdong, salary and working conditions are generally noticeably better than what they used to be. And workers have far more choice and selection when it comes to switching jobs. Still, there are no shortage of bastard employers that take advantage of their employees (esp the ones who are migrant workers)...

You moron, the new policies are being enforced in China. That is why some factories are moved back to Hong Kong, where the policies are not as good for the workers.
