    Yeah...if it's made in USA...why not buy Coach....
I'm paying not only the "brand"...but craftmanship too...and yeah..I do consider Italian or France more premier in leather goods than other places...

And actually...I don't know Chanel is really more expensive than LV...I thought they are about the same price... (can tell I didn't use those brand name goods much.. )

Yeah...that's what I thought too.  If there are made in USA, might as well buy Coach, and apparently a lot of Coach are now made in China too

Wah ..  even ~ 20 yr ago, my big LV travel bag, was MADE IN USA ga la wor ..  

Coach, Burberry, Juicy C, Gap, DKNY,   .. etc .. are mostly made in China tim ..  

You get what you pay ma ..  lower price hangbag, made in China etc ..  mid price, spain/US/Cezh/Pol .. but some LV still France gei ..

Upper class ...  still Italy, France, Belgium, German etc gei ..

You want good quality made in france travel bag ..  go Goyard la! I think they are still mostly handmade ...

    I didn't use LV 20 yrs ago mah... My LV handbag is made in France though. So I thought all LV are France lor... I just want wallet...I thought LV is more than mid-price la...I guess I'm wrong...
But yeah..compare to Hermes...

Chinese people have great craftmanship.
Just look at you own Chinese hands, they are so skillful. Don't you agree?

Whatever the brand is, if it is made in China, it should be of very high quality.

The European factories have many immigrant workers from Africa and Eastern Europe.

    Then the fact is there is no premium Chinese brand well established for leather good yet. I'm glad to see if there's one. But so far there is none. So there is no surprise people stick with European brand. And looks who buy LV most? Mainland chinese can be seen in very LV store!

Well, I was shopping @ Holts for a Speedy the other day.  The sales told me that for the weekly Speedy shipments, there is only 1 or 2 that are Made in France from each box.  So if you want the Made in France ones, it's better to let the sales know to place it on hold~  Otherwise, it's all MADE IN USA~

    I see...the one I had is never full, I got it from Paris and it's made in France...Yeah..next time if I do get LV I'll pay more attention...
But in the meanwhile I'm still searching a wallet...I need a compact one but able to fit in everything

It's not just about craftmanship. I am not saying Chinese craftmanship is not good. In fact, it's very good.
