i usually go with empty tank and bring 40L gas container to fill up another car at home
also, milk, eggs, beer and ice-cream are cheaper down there. i save about $20 for a round trip

Only if filling your tank is not your sole purpose... .

It just doesn't seem right to me to drive 50 hours more per year to save on the gas difference unless the time waste can cut 2/3.

Or, put it this way, you can choose car pooling with friends in order you can save the difference (300-400 km/month).

if u go on sunday afternoon, there is no line up at all. a round trip can be as short as 30mins
i have nothing to do on sunday anyways
ofcos, filling for only 1 car is not worth going

I think 2x do to carry another 40L gas in a container and in the truck.

If your car get rear-ended, it will be very ugly.  And ICBC is likely to void your insurance.  Not worth it for $20, or $2000.

    咁人係無完美嘅。有幾多人踩單車唔開車返工？有幾多人買咖啡帶埋自己個杯？有幾多人唔飲樽裝水？有幾多人屋企有composite box？咁一方面無咁環保，咪第二方面做多啲囉。頭先我行咗成個鐘去超級市場，趁好天氣就唔開車。
同埋我去point roberts通常都有嘢pickup嘅。好少靜係去入油。
