From the pictures, I think the styrofoam plate and the oily paper is a turn off.
If they can be served in a returnable box/tray with wire racks (with deposit via return), it would look a lot nicer.
Or they can use paper takeout box with sections like some takeout places use here (Corner 23) . They look nicer and are better to the env.
But if it's a chain, these are probably exactly what they use in Japan.. But I can't picture this presentation in Japan... even in HK.
