Richmond Night Market one step closer to going ahead

RICHMOND (NEWS1130) - If a public meeting on May 20th has no objections, the Richmond Night Market will go on as planned on the 30th.
Richmond City Council approved the plan Monday evening but it still has to go through a public hearing.
First time market organizer Paul Cheung says he can sign up more vendors as a result. “At the moment we have 100 vendors secured; we have many other vendors that will sign up with us because they were waiting to see if we were going to proceed into the public hearing.”
The market will be on the original site on Vulcan Way behind Home Depot.
I don't like going there myself. However, when I have out town guests, it's a must to bring them there.
btw, I am in total agreement with the food. They are expensive and don't tastes good either. What i hate the most is the smell of bbq lamb.... so gross smelling! Also, the halls in the food area is just too narrow! I am lucky if I don't get stained by someone else after walking through!
i got ripped off once...lol there's rarely anything that's truely worth buying there anyways...but with the amount of things we can do with a big group of frds in Vancouver...it's usually a must go anyways...so sad
