With today's technology, we are so capable of ruling ourselves based on the concensus of the population through the internet. Why are we not doing this? the bearucrats wants to keep their power and meddle with our affairs, ****ing parasites.

The technology for internet voting is already there. Some people think if they can vote online during the election, the voting rate will increase, especially for younger people.

That's a good point.   I think about this since few years ago.  Just like the "techno" government type in Civilization game.  However, it must be built on a society that everyone is educated and has access to internet, and information flow is completely transparent.

Interesting point, I think the media would have to be a non-profitable entity with no censorship. Also a greater diversity in media outlets for it to happen.
