It was one of the older Japanese restaurant in Richmond, They cater to most Caucasian
market; then they had a makeover and sell high-end Wagu beef teppanyaki and spent a
high budget ad in 1320 morning show for a few month. They got shut down by local
health authority and no more good words about them.  I tried once, more than enough.

How about Ichiro in the same area? I heard good comment from my coworker. Anyone tried that one before? It's run by Japanese as far as I know.

They are the best in the neighborhood. Japanese owner, chefs & servers. Good food but not cheap. Always crowded. Make sure you make a reservation before you go. You won't be disappointed.

Went Ichiro with my husband last Friday, very yummy.... thanks you guys for sharing...We had delux chirashi don, chopped scallop roll, uni sushi assorted tempura, a soup (the one in kettle), grill saba, with tax & tips $65... reasonable and good stuff... So close to my home, will definitely come back again.
