what don't you ask her out as a date instead of asking her if she is free on the weekend? if some guy asks me, i would not want to tell him that i am doing nothing on my weekend lor.  so in this case, nothing wrong that she tells you she is going clubbing and she has to do housework.

be a man and ask her out, tell her that it is a date/you want to get to know her and see how she respond. then you can decide if you should ditch or continue this chasing game. good luck.

dun see a big problem here...
i always call ppl back in a day or so...
if im busy at work, i wont ans the phone right away but i will call the person back later..
sometimes i call ppl back in 1-2 days when i actually hv time to relax n talk..

plus doing housework is not really an excuse.. i need to do laundry on my days off too ..
if i dont, then how m i supposed to get clean sets of clothes for work n stuff... = =?

just be polite and be honest and ask her out for real. make it obvious that you're interested and you like to get to know her more, and let see if your relationship with her will go anywhere. but please don't say "do you wanna be my girlfriend?" that's a big no-no.

if you're being honest, but she still decides to play games with you. then honestly, why would you wanna date someone who likes to play games all the time? imagine if one day she does turn out to be your girlfriend, she'll keep playing mind games with you. do you think you'll be able to handle it? and don't even think about "she'll change" blah blah. if she plays games now, she will play games in the future too.

You should not jump into a conclusion by just 2 phone calls... put more time and see... keep calling her a few more times and try to ask her out.

Remember, she doesn't know that u are interested at her... so be patient! for the case now, at least she called you back and talk to u, which means at least she does not hate u, right? good luck!!
