you dont find hk freaky?
- rude/uneducated people
- wei yuen ah bak's spitting everywhere (and poking their things into places...=P)
- always feel like u're getting ripped off one way or another
- Sales people in malls who constantly get in your face even though you've politely rejected w/e they're trying to offer you
- bums ganging up on people on streets
- once night rolls around, gangs roam the streets
- teenagers committing suicide when their hearts get broken...(u dont tend to hear that happening here in North America as much...)
BUT vancouver has issues of its own, so im not here to just bash HK, and HK still has it's good traits. i just tend to be very pessimistic w/ HK cuz I dont feel very comfortable when I walk around the streets, always feels like im gonna get robbed. and when i walk around at night, i always feel like someone's gonna grab me into a back alley and start beating the crap outta me...just for me that it feels unsafe in HK...
people in hk live in fear most of the time so it's easier to be paranoid (such as the constant contamination of different foods). here, even though there's crime and all that, the events are usually tied to gangs somehow (in general). there seems to be a lot more crazy people in hk w/ mental illnesses. so the chances of a random attack (without reason) is greater
some might disagree with what i have stated, but that's just my own opinion, there's no right or wrong answer to begin with. it's all "gwoon deem yu gok dou" |
