It might be cruel to say, but if you want to consider in which country you can gain more money, you should rather consider if you are a money making person or not. If you are talented enough, you should be able to make money anywhere.

Don't  take people on only one of their appearance, people don't exactly live like what he/she appears to be or what you think.  A lot of people are dead broke and still driving MB, they need to mainain their appearance to get by.

I ain't no rich person and I knew no rich person who had told me their stories that I can re-tell here.

IMHO: If you are right at the border line to move back to HK, stories won't help you to make a decision. Everybody has his/her own fate. When you decide to go, just go and don't look back until you are satisfied with what you are.

Very wrong concept! People driving Volvo, BMW, Lexus and Benz means rich? It could be the other way round, many people spend most of their money on good looking and show-off type vehicles (and clothing) but then have less savings and other assets. I know a friend who only drives a Toyota Camry and dresses non-branded names but has a few apartments/houses for rent and as investment. Sometimes truly rich people are not necessary to show off to others.

Exactly! Would people feel jealous when they see a prostitute wearing Burberry, LV, Prada, Hermes... all over her body? Wakaka.... You gotta "know" the story behind.

ppl who said they can't find any chances in here and went back to HK, please ask yourself first, how much did you dwell into the richmond and chinese community??

I don't quite get it, why poor people are worse off in Canada. First there is free health care (in HK there is also free health care but you would want to pay to get better health care). So poor people are actually getting better treatment here. And poor people can also get EI.

Actually, if I'm poor, I'd rather live here than HK. People here don't really care what cloth you wear, what type of cell phone you use. In HK, people like to compare...

Also, too much stress in HK...

But having said that, still I think HK has more opportunities. Why I don't go back? I have a stable job here and also I enjoy more lay back life style...

Sorry. Rich people won't be on forum. They are busy on golfing or ballroom dancing.
People like us who do not have extra money for entertaiment. Chating here is free and entertaining. Any that is why we all hang around here.
