I thought only in Chinatown that people would work for minimum pay.
Waiter/ress get minimum pay but they keep the larger portion of tip that would
compensate low pay; some good servers make $200-400 tip daily
Household assistants get $10-14 per hour in cash, no tax
Dish-washers get $10-14 per hour
Pizza delivering guys get min pay plus tip
Cha Chantang cooks get $3000-4000/ month
Red-Seal cooks get $3500-4500/ month
Truck Drivers: $30-45/ hour
Bartenders25 /hour +tip
Culinary instructor: $ 35-75/hour
Photographer80-250 per picture
Electricians, Plumbers, Boiler Operators, Accupunture Doctors...$$$$$$$$$$

Some dish-washers work at minimium wage.
McDonald's? and other places?
MD at remote cities pay much higher than min pay, at Port MCMurray, $18.50/hour plus transit allowance
Just look up Craiglist, Starbuck at UBC pays $14.50 for counter workers
Few months ago, a Chinese Restaurant GM was looking for dishwasher/veg washer,
he offer $2500 in cash. Last year when the Rainflower restaurant opened, they were looking for dishwashers.
$11 /hour. My students work at senior home, $20 for cooks and $19 for dishwasher, full benefit package.
My friend paid the household assistant $16.50 cash per hour
A woman I know gets $3000/month for 6 hours work daily, babysitting an old man and some home cooking.
My little brother works as a supervisor at Tim Horton in Calgary, $3400/month
The foodservices at UBC always pay higher than market, unfortunately , other than
middle management level position, the employers do not offer full-time job: insurable income; instead, they offer short contracts. I'm self-employed so I could be lazy. Superstores always have positions available starting at $14.75, some home-based direct marketing agents make 3000-5000 monthly, not MLM. For females, homecare attendants would get $12-16 cash per hour, flexible schedule.
Many retirement homes hire causal worker with good pay. I did not mention anything for minimum pay. Submit application to Compass Group, Aramark etc. they operate hundreds of facilities.
