And you're right, camera is only a piece of tool, I saw some very nice pictures from an iphone.

Actually .. after I bought the A300, I notice they are not bad ga, for low end camera, I think they are better then C/N tim!   right off camera pic, are more vivid then C/N ..  
most important .. cheap ar ma ..  $349 for A200 Kit .. $429 for A300 kit ..  whatever VR .. big LCD, liveview, tilt LCD, self cleaning ...  all kind of features! But my wife still wont use it ..


By the way, ar 9, you can using tripod or say a monopod next time, and close the aperture a bit to F3.2, then you should fix the blurry problem.

Definitely.
But to many people, gears is the only thing they can comment on.

ah 9, the composition of the second one is interesting, the shadow on the curtain looks like some kinda animal. I am not a Canon user, I wonder if an IS lens can fix the blurry problem.

$349 from best buy ....  accoss Canada ..  but it was Jan .. not sure now ..  then I got the print out from BB, go FS for price match - 10% ...  (I got the A100, I was surprise they still had lots in stock .. )

24-70 has no IS ... and yes, IS will fix the blurry problem on that case.
