I had hair cut in Hive today as well.
The Japanese stylist is very detail oriented. The whole process takes about an hour. And he's very observing as well. When I found some hair sticks on the sleeves and try to remove it myself, he right away asks the server girl to bring me a roller to remove those hair. He also massage my neck a little bit, and there is nice green tea + poky served as well! (the rose sencha tea smells really good and tasty...) I also got some hair mask sample to take home....

Overall, I'm satisfied with the cut and the service. $38 hair cut is a bit pricy to me, but first time visit is 20% off. And if you refer 3 ppl will get 20% off for the next 5 visits.

i think it applies to all service....i just got my hair cut and color there 2 weeks ago....they were awesome..!! i am sure i will go back again!!

I got my cut... it's.. ok. I will prob go back because it's close to home than Chura downtown.
I had Sho. He is very quiet. My cut is similar to those I got from Chura.

Jun was my stylist, he was pretty good.....it cost me around $100 for cut and color....but i have really long hair.....
