Well NDSI is $50 more (Retail...not counting if u trade in stuff at EB)
The NDSI has a brighter screen and also a camera
One of the main disadvantages of the new DS is a much lower battery life (to compensate for the newer features??)

DSi could use R4i or TTi and many others.  There isn't much diff between the two.  But DSi does have a shorter battery life (but it charges up quicker).
