Melo's efficiency is not that high, for a max salary franchise player. The assists he gets takes some pressure off his low scoring efficiency.
The boss invested a lot in Melo, so they don't want to look stupid.
They would rather win with Melo, than with Lin, but Linsanity is just too good.
