I take my dog to "Dog Avenue" for grooming. A bit more $ compared to the chinese ones but I like them the most outta all the previous ones I had taken my dog to.

I actually bathe my dog once every 7-10 days (and with tons of conditioning of course). It is actually recommended for Maltese. Poms are doubled-coated so I'm not sure how often you can bathe them (should be less I think)..I've heard once a week and I've heard once every 2 months for Poms....

I like Bio-Groom's products for shampoo and conditioning: http://www.biogroom.com/

And for her face, I like Spa Lavish's Facial Scrub: highly recommended!

Yeah, I feed my puppy raw food diet. I buy them from Tisol. A bit on the expensive side ...

I probably know which one you are talking about....it's a white bag I guess?
it's not too muc to feed a small dog on raw diet cuz they don't eat as much
my friend who has 2 huskies and they were on raw too, but it's just hundreds on dollars each month plus they go to daycare almost everyday too, so it's just too much expenses and they had to cut down from the food...

yeah, it's less poo poo when on raw
because raw food (=fresh and unprocessed) is more easy for the body to digest, thus less remaining materials
dogs on raw also have better breath and siginificant skin improvement who was suffering from skin problems when on kibbles cuz kibbles just tend to cause a lot of problems sometimes since you never know what is actually inside and how it was actually made

the hair between the toes should be trimmed once in a while too
like you said, it makes them hard to walk on hard floor because they tend to slide with those hair (my girl even back-flipped while playing with the boy when she had just arrived to my house a few days LOL and I realized it was the hair on her paw too) plus it tends to hide many dirty things in there too
so it's good to keep those hair trimmed

I started going to petsmart for buying supplies too
cuz I always thought it was something very similar to petcetra
turned out, they actually carry some healthy treats that tisol also carries
plus some of their items are cheaper too

my dogs are bathed from as short as 2 weeks to as long as 2 months.......lol
it really depends on how dirty they get
usually bathed more often in the summer cuz we go to the beach almost twice everyweek

and in the winter they are not bathed as much since it's either raining all the time and they don't get to play outside as much
or it's snowing so they don't get really dirty from playing in the snow~

my girl went to Cilie's dog grooming on Cooney
it was recommended by my friend who also has a sheltie
but kinda pricey over there too >.<
it was $60 for this small girl, the owner said cuz sheltie is double coated and very fluffy (very true for my girl....)
so it takes lots of work to dry and brush, so more expensive lor
