but for some reason, shaq still draws double teams, which is why  he's still being played...when in fact, a much older, much more handsome looking and much more physically fit mourning does a better job at C position.

i don't remember which game it was... but it was the 1st play of the game, it was either the Heat vs. Golden State, or the Portland, or the CLippers...

but i remember clearly... first position of the game... Shaq caught the ball in the paint, right underneath the hoop... with a guard covering him... he did not dunk it to try to draw the foul... all he did was a 45degree shot... WTF...

Shaq is no more... he's just gonna sit there and earn his paycheck...
and then there was this other scene... it was the 4th Q... he was on the bench... cameras were zooming in on him... talking about his stats... and all you see is him grabbing his tit and cracking a joke.... oooooooookay....

anyways, i never liked Shaq... so yes... just retire...

Alonzo Mourning is gone for season, pretty much end of his NBA life.
Clap for the Iron man.
Sad for Heat, with out Mourning they have no more reliable Center in the team, make it a "Tofu Paint D" or "Fat Oil Paint D" whatever you like....either you are meat eater or vegetarian , they both easy to chew.

I've never seen him play. Does he really have talent?

Yi is one of the best rookies this year. He will be better than Yao Ming in a few years as Yi has both speed and skills. This means he will be a star. He has a mid range game and post game. He can shoot 3 pts and grab rebounds. How many 7ft players can do all that effectivley? We are looking at a very good all-round player.
