Why are people so fixated on other people's salaries? Even with a $30K to $50K raise, how much more does each person need to contribute a year? 25 cents? So people argue for days because of 25 cents?
it just bad timing.
also after they become mayor or councilors, they will get so many paid part-time councilling jobs from governments. so they should declare their total paid salaries instead.
