I do believe in cause and consequence BTW.
@jiujiujiu: those religious nutcases are quite typical of certain major organisational religion (I have friends like the ones you described, and they cursed me for not joining their religion when they realised that I cannot be persuaded, but I laughed at them silly...and I still do all these decades).
Once again: to summarise: those major organised religions feasted on human being's fundamental fear of death. If you believe in death and the fear of it, you are "qualified" to join and further your believes in their "point of view".
In my case I'm not fear of death and anything associated with death (I only believe in fate and destiny laid down in my life, and I walk towards my death one step at a time, every day of my life)....so most of these organised religion has no bearing/meaning to me...they can't even persuade me to believe their religion to begin with.
In case you wonder: I grew up in 2 major organised religion schools when I was young, and succeeded in not to believe in either of them at the end....
*go figure*
