We cannot deny that we are Chinese. But I would really want to see our 大陸同胞 improve their 質素 as quickly as possible and learn to be more respectful to others.
i left vancouver for a yr. and visited van a few weeks ago. there are so many mainland chinese these days that it's not even funny. while i've met many mainland chinese who are very nice. there are also some that just wanna move the chinese system of their living to canada. i m sorry, but it doen'st work that way.

I sometime just want to ask them whether they realize they are now living in Canada. Learn and fit into the life/work style here. Don't make us feel embarrassed by their behaviour.

Some Hong Kong people have the same problem as well. Sometimes I was embarrassed by their level of voice and table maner when dining in a fine restuarant. I have no complain about they enjoyed their time together with a big table of people, but they should consider there were other people as well on tables around them.
