Regardless if its HK that's better, if Canada that's better / if HK ppl are smarter and well versed, or if it's Canadian that have more knowledge and international exposure. Calling names, stereotyping, discrimination, and self arrogance is disgusting, no matter how it's defended or justified. Seeing a fellow Chinese acting in such manner just makes me feel ashame, even tho I know I shouldn't be, because it's really just a single individual's thought and action....

U know what .. this is a REAL story ..

My friend (in HK) was so excited, telling people, there is "WARM" water coming out from the tap of whatever big hotel in HK ...

My wife had no idea what that is such a big deal .. since "WARM" water is NORMAL to Candian .. but just not to Honger ...  

Same as when I am telling my friends in HK, there is "HEAT" in my parents home in HK, they were surprised ..  since most people in HK, don't care about HEAT ...

However, living in ALBERTA ..  do you think I need to tell people I have "HEAT" in my house?

some human are born abnomally that they were lack of the "hardware" such as arms, legs or any physical disabilities, but those "software" u mentioned are basically  a bunch of "must-have-pre-installed"  to EVERYONE of us

having bad trait is not a problem. refusal to recognize such is a problem. extending it to one of the largest chinese newspaper, possibly in the world... would be a big problem.

This is so funny wor. Warm water supply is normal in Hong Kong homes. Of course the big hotels also have it. Why were your friends surprised?
