OMY, can't belive so many tasks needed to get prepared which I have never imagined before!!

The time and effort input for wedding are so huge and I really need to plan in more details for my BIG project....

but the flowers on the boards are probably flat jor... cus i stacked them together. & some flowers fell off when the hotel people packed things up for me afterwards   it's pretty sad to just put them away after my hard work, i really 唔拾得throw them out. but i have nowhere to put them in my place!   so i sent them to my storage downstairs in our parking level....aiii

np la~ it's still so memorable & fun discussing all this stuff with you girls la. keep me entertained, i don't mind showing you my ideas

i've just sent you 2 other emails with pics of the board. i went through my HEE dvd, so now i don't need to go down to storage to dig up the boards! you go check check la. it might take a while to load, cus the files were taken by HEE, so their professional camera makes huge file sizes

How about your dress hunting? Where did you get the dresses eventually?
I had a hard time doing dress hunting in Vancouver cuz the sample size are always GIGANTIC!!! So no matter how beautiful the dress is on the hanger, it always looks ugly on me.

End up I tailored made one in hk with extravagant french lace and partly my own design but it's only 1/2 of the price I would be able to get it here.

Good for you la...at least you can get nice one from HK. My size is too large when I try in HK...nothing fit But at the same time, I'm too small for the local sizes. So I'm sorta in the middle. It's really hard to find one I like anywhere lor...
End up I still get a dress locally and evening gown from HK.

i ended up getting my dress from Lisa's bridal. as i say before, i really went to 12 bridal salons before i ended up deciding. it was such a hard decision lor... i got 2 dresses...both creamy white. cus i don't want rainbow color evening gowns like a 雀 gum

the one i wore in day time (when hubby pick me up, day time pics, ceremony, & entry into my banquet) is white tulle, full gown. exactly how i imagined my dress to be, cus i know in my mind, i want a tulle layer dress. $1300

the 2nd one, is spaghetti straps, completely made of silk french lace.... $3000 that one i changed as my "evening dress". the best thing i love about this dress, & the main reason why i was WILLING to pay that much for it is: it has a sheer long underdress...which can be detached. so it turns into a sexy lace mini-dress with a long train for the 2nd half of my banquet evening.

bridal salons here, the dresses on display are ALL too big for me. there's no way the typical chinese girls like us will fit. but when you try it, they will pin it on you, so you can see the color & style on you. of course, when you order your dress, everything in your size will be proportional & look good. but it will take at least 6 months to order. so if you buy dress, you need to shop in advance. plus, when it arrives, you might need minor alterations... so make sure you have enough time.
