When I left my house this morning, only -6.5c, stop snowing ..  WOW .. so nice .. don't need to wear glove, don't need to warm car, don't need to wear boots ..  shirt and sport jacket ..

Well, I do agree  0c in Van ( or .. if happened in HK ) will make you FEEL colder then Zero in Calgary or Vancouver ..  especially if you are righ by the Ocean ..

Realistic # is app. ~ 5C, say Zero in Van, feel like -5C in Calgary/Edmonton, and -5C in Van, will feel like -10C in Calgary.

Again, I go to Vancouver quite often, was there last few winter, when there was snow, and UNDER Zero as well .. but It wasn't cold to me at all, while my friends wear big down jacket, I was just on a fleece.

Just like lots of my friends, they were living in Edmonton, they were used to -40c ..  but now living in HK .. even 15c, is cold.

I was chatting with my friend few days ago, talking about the -63c winter back to 92/93 ..  IT WAS COLD!!!!

And now, living in Calgary for year, I feel cold when just -25c or -30c, but when I was in Edmonton, -25c wasn't bad at all .. LOL
