Chesirecat, I feel the same way sometimes.
Ppl might say I'm bs-ing because I'm so active all the time.. but seriously... I'm very introverted.
There are many times when I scroll thru my phone list and I can't find a single person to talk to too.
To fix that problem leh.. I try not to focus on myself too much~ instead I focus on other people, other things~ :p
I don't know if it's the right thing to do but I sure feel better when I don't think about myself.

Dragon Boat? ^_^ haha...sounded like one of my friend....I know she's in dragon boat for I don't know how many years. She's my high school friend but haven't seen her for ages.
I do want to know more friends too but I'm just not those who's just start talking out of no where to continue others topic just like that *when face to face* unless I have seen them a few times at least.
Actually I do think nowadays it's so so so so so hard to find someone who can be trusted and share EVERYTHING. I know some people might be like BFF *not really forever* but maybe for 10 years and shared LOTS but somehow because of one turning point, they aren't friends anymore and maybe one of them started BS about the other one out there or even worse, the secret shared are all out in the public. I really hate to hear/see this kind of thing happening but it just naturally happens.
just added you, noticed you are from hk. Actually I used to have lots of HK friends in Vancouver, but most went back to Hong Kong to start their career. I am in HK right now, we can talk and hang out when I come back I think Vancouver the city is to blame for a lot of introvertness. There are so many races and certain races live in certain places. People just keep it to themselves due to sometimes racial tension. I am in china and hong kong right now, even though its not an honest community, people are generally more nice.
