Yeah there are rich people in China so there are expensive good like LV or Guicci selling. But instant noodle is different, different market. Instant noodle targets to general public which in this case, there are also a lot of people with less income. They would rather pay less for instant noodle. So it makes sense to have different type of price range selling in different places. MacDonald food in Europe is more expensive than North American MacDonald. And offer more choices too. Then you call that discrimination too?

Comeon, as you know there are rich people in China who also eat instant noodles. The Japanese should produce both expensive and cheap versions of them. You don't see coke cola selling cheaper versions of coke in China. There are always expensive and cheaper stuff at Macdonalds all over the world and they are using the same ingredients for the same product.

btw companies usually use local/close by area ingredients unless they have to be imported.

Comeon, your logic is wrong and very funny. We are talking about the Japanese intentionally using better ingredients in Japan than in Hong Kong to make the same instant noodles. But you dare to say Chinese quality is lower than Japan? This is a joke from you.
We are talking about the same products made with different grades of ingredients. Of course, the Japan version will be better due to the better ingredients. This does not mean the Japanese workers are better than those in Hong Kong or China. You don't see coke cola using lower quality ingredients for their Hong Kong or or China version of the same product.

Comeon, can you even read properly? We are not talking about two different products, like a civic and a porsche. We are talking about the same type of instant noodles. If the Japanese use the same manufacturing techniques and same quality parts to make the same car in Japan and Canada, but the quality of the Canadian-made car is lower, that means something wrong with the Canadian workers.

Comeon, the Japanese are intentionally using lower quality ingredients for the Hong Kong version of the same instant noodles. HK people and richer people in China can afford the more expensive version of the noodles. You don't see Macdonalds intentionally using lower quality ingredients in Hong Kong than elsewhere.
