this is not a good example (because of the recent 2-3 years' situation), why don't you look at 20, 30, 40 years chart? Even 股神畢菲特都叫大家長渣某隻好股﹐當然所謂好股係要做好多研究所得出來的結論啦﹐同埋他所謂長渣係講緊 20-30甚至40年。

好同意樓上 TOFU 所說的﹐就算你係成日看財經雜誌﹐或者自己讀埋 DEGREE﹐都唔代表有這樣的精力時間興趣去管理你的金錢﹐再講﹐你有這麼大的財力去分散投資嗎﹖ 足夠的分散投資講緊每只股都投資幾百萬以上﹐如果你自問沒有﹐就要交給專業人士管理囉。。。

我識很多人寫財經雜誌的﹐可以告訴你﹐很多料都不外如是﹐不值一晒﹐若果你依靠這些所謂貼士來投資﹐同賭錢沒有甚麼分別。。。即如有天我坐在麗晶吃飯﹐有個亞伯響處教另外兩個亞伯怎樣做 DAY TRADE日賺幾百 (會唔會這麼巧就係牛郎大哥黎呢﹖)﹐其實就算去 CASINO 你都一樣做得到﹐唔難架﹐問題只係﹐大跌市就會輸囉﹐而且﹐你必定要無正職先有這樣的時間和精力﹐還要有這種興趣。

What I didn't say is that you need to find bad ones who can make you money.

Investment savviness should not be mistakened for performance.
It's naive to think that you will get rich if you are skillful.
Someone with an IQ of 50 can outperform you just because he happened to buy stocks in 1993 and sold all of them in 1999.

There is so much ridiculous logical fallacy when it comes to investment philosophy, as you can see plenty in this thread.  But I guess that's what makes the stock market balanced.  You can't have 10 million people doing the same thing and still make money.

Different styles work during different times.
It might still work for some sectors.

Just be flexible and keep an open mind

I have to disagree littleprince.

There are so many to learn for stock trading.
I agree "buy and hold is stupid" haha that's why i only day trade or month trade.
look at 20, 30., 40 years chart? come on. don't be unrealistic.

There are so many diff books in the market and you don't necessarily listen to anyone, I agreed upstair said "to keep your mind opened". *PERIOD*
